Captain Eric
My name is Eric McQuoid. I'm a fully licensed United States Coast Guard Captain and professional walleye angler. I grew up coming to Green Bay each year for tournaments and fun fishing. After moving out to the bay area a few years ago I'm excited to start sharing my passion and all that the bay has to offer. This is one of the best walleye fisheries in the country for trophy sized fish.
Our Fishing Destinations
During the spring bite (March-May) most of the fishing will be done towards the southern part of Green Bay in and around its tributaries. This time of the year can produce up to 50 fish days and have good chances of getting trophy sized walleyes. Jigging, casting, and trolling presentations will all be used depending on the bite.
From spring into summer (June-August), walleyes start to migrate north to the mud flats and reefs. We will locate large schools utilizing the newest electronics from Garmin to pinpoint exactly where we will need to be fishing each day. The walleyes can be very active this time of year which brings all of the techniques to the forefront.
In August through November the walleyes start to put their feed bag on before winter. Jigging and casting will be used most along with some trolling. Walleyes in the 27-32" range are of higher percentage this time of year.
No matter the time of year you choose I will make sure to teach you any presentation that we are using along with how to utilize each Garmin product for your next adventure. I try to cater to the client with different trips available ranging from 4-8 hours.
